Personal Care Assistant
In Home Aides: Joplin area, Weekends Part time hours. No medical experience required. Provide personal care services and assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, preparing meals, laundry, general housekeeping and running errands. Experience requirements: Six months paid experience as agency homemaker, home health aide, or household worker; or at least one year experience, paid or unpaid, in caring for children, sick or aged individuals; or successful completion of a formal course in basic nursing arts or nurse aide training. Must have a drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
PCA/NA/CNA: Webb City area, PT Evenings – M.R. experience necessary Responsibilities include: Assisting in activities of daily living, performing general household duties, assisting with medications, exercise programs and patient’s health equipment, providing transportation and shopping as needed, helping with bathing, feeding and general hygiene and providing companionship, socialization and emotional support. Experience requirements: Minimum of six months work as a nurse aide in a hospital, nursing home or home care setting, or current enrollment as an RN or LPN student with six months clinical experience.

- Hours available caring for pediatric client in Willard Monday through Friday 3:30 p.m. – 8: 30 p.m.
Home Care Aide: Full or Part time, Columbia and surrounding counties Provides personal care services and assists in activities of daily living including. Performs house cleaning, laundry, and simple meal preparation. Promotes Plan of Care by performing other health-related services such as, monitoring vital signs and skin conditions, assisting with physician ordered, self-administered medications, assisting with patient’s exercise program and maintaining equipment and room used by patient. Provides transportation and shopping as needed. Provides companionship, socialization, diversional activities and emotional support for client and family.
Experience: Successful completion of or testing for Home Health Aide training or competency requirements as stated in the Conditions of Participation. APC Aides must have successfully completed an APC training class at Oxford. Minimum of six months experience working as a nurse assistant in a hospital, nursing home or home care agency, or current enrollment as a RN or LPN student with six months clinical experience. Ability to follow directions and perform duties with minimum supervision. Must have reliable transportation, as required by nature of the position.
Personal Care Assistants - FT/PT/PRN Hours Vary. Cases in Springfield and surrounding communities including, Christian, Stone, Taney, Webster, Polk, Douglas, Ozark and Dallas counties.
