Home Health Aide
Home Health Aide: Full Time M-F 8am – 5 pm Springfield & Surrounding area – In our Home Health department. Provides in home personal care services and assists in daily living activities. Performs general household duties essential to health care at home, including, but not limited to, disposal of infectious secretions, cleaning soiled linen and simple meal preparation. Promotes patient's Plan of Care by performing other health-related services such as, monitoring vital signs and skin conditions; assisting with physician ordered, self-administered medications, assisting with patient's exercise program and maintaining equipment and room use by patient. Minimum of six months experience working as a nurse assistant or current enrollment in RN or LPN nursing program with six months clinical experience required.
Part Time Home Health Aide: Barry & Lawrence counties – (Monday – Friday, plus one weekend every two months) In our Home Health department. Provides in home personal care services and assists in daily living activities. Performs general household duties essential to health care at home, including, but not limited to, disposal of infectious secretions, cleaning soiled linen and simple meal preparation. Promotes patient's Plan of Care by performing other health-related services such as, monitoring vital signs and skin conditions; assisting with physician ordered, self-administered medications, assisting with patient's exercise program and maintaining equipment and room use by patient. Minimum of six months experience working as a nurse assistant or current enrollment in RN or LPN nursing program with six months clinical experience required.
Home Care Aide: Part time, Columbia and surrounding counties Provides personal care services and assists in activities of daily living including. Performs house cleaning, laundry, and simple meal preparation. Promotes Plan of Care by performing other health-related services such as, monitoring vital signs and skin conditions, assisting with physician ordered, self-administered medications, assisting with patient’s exercise program and maintaining equipment and room used by patient. Provides transportation and shopping as needed. Provides companionship, socialization, diversional activities and emotional support for client and family.
Experience: Successful completion of or testing for Home Health Aide training or competency requirements as stated in the Conditions of Participation. APC Aides must have successfully completed an APC training class at Oxford. Minimum of six months experience working as a nurse assistant in a hospital, nursing home or home care agency, or current enrollment as a RN or LPN student with six months clinical experience. Ability to follow directions and perform duties with minimum supervision. Must have reliable transportation, as required by nature of the position.
Home Health Aide - Part Time/Full Time in our Joplin Office. Provides personal care service and assists in activities of daily living including but not limited to personal hygiene, eating, dressing, elimination, exercise and ambulation. Performs general household duties essential to health care at home. Promotes patient's Plan of Care by performing other health related services such as monitoring vital signs and skin conditions, assisting with physician ordered, self-administered medications, assisting with patient's exercise program and maintaining equipment. Observes, records and reports reaction to treatment and any changes in patient's condition to the appropriate personnel. Requires successful completion of or testing for Home Health Aide Training or Competency Requirements with a minimum of 6 months experience working as a nurse assistant in a hospital, nursing home or home care agency; or current enrollment as a RN or LPN student with 6 months clinical experience.
